Client Portal Feature Release
Hello Lawmatics community! We’re at it again, and while we realize our last release was only a few short weeks ago, this time it is with one of the big announcements we promised. Drum roll, please...
Today we are excited to announce the release of the Lawmatics Client Portal! You have repeatedly told us that better client service and access were critical to your practice, and we listened!
Be sure to read the whole post though, because that’s not all we’ve released. 🙂
Lawmatics Client Portal
The Lawmatics Client Portal is live and available for all customers on the Intake+Marketing/Pro plan to use with your prospects and clients. You can now grant access to matters through the portal, which will invite your prospects and clients to log in to a personalized experience where they can see and perform many actions initiated through the Lawmatics platform.
The Client Portal allows you to share documents, signature requests, calendar events, and even tasks with contacts in their portal. All at the click of a mouse!
We will continue to release enhancements to the Client Portal over the next several weeks, including file requests, note sharing, and messaging functionality, so make sure to keep an eye out for all of that!
One thing to note is that the Lawmatics Client Portal is the first product in Lawmatics that uses subdomains. This means that your contacts will be logging into a personalized domain instead of logging in to app.lawmatics.com
. So, for example, if my firm was called Smith Law Group, my contacts might log into smithlawgroup.portal.lawmatics.com
, giving their portal experience the ultimate personalized touch.

E-Signature Deadline Expiration
We have also just released a new feature for e-signature software. Now, whenever you set a deadline for an e-signature document, the document will automatically expire when that deadline hits. This gives you even more control over your important documents that go out for e-signature.
Automation Tagging
Tagging has been a welcome addition to the Lawmatics platform in the many different places that we’ve added it thus far. So we are happy to announce that we have also added tagging to Automations. Automations can now be sorted and organized much more easily using tags, especially by filtering on the new tags column on the Automations table page.
We hope that you are as thrilled with these new features as we are. Please keep your eyes out for more announcements from us because we still have a lot we are working on and are moving at light speed!
